Jithin Vijayan

I am interested in the ecology and conservation of lesser-known living beings, especially amphibians. I have been working on the overwintering tadpoles in the western Himalaya, to understand the overwintering ecology, and influence of check dams in the montane streams on the larvae. Currently I am working on the ecology of the lateritic plateaus in the northern Western Ghats, especially understanding the influence of land-use change on threatened and endemic taxa.
